I thought now would be a good time to look at the past posts where I've been writing about After the Wedding. I absolutely adore weddings! I really do. I get butterflies on a wedding day, I tear up watching the tender moments that happen all around when I'm photographing weddings. But honestly, I love what comes next. I want your wedding to just be the beginning...

I was at a wedding once where the best man gave the strangest speech.... He said that he hoped the bride and groom loved each other the least on their wedding day. Strange right? What I believe he was saying was that he hoped their love for each other would only grow stronger as the years passed and that when they looked back on the day they said "I do" they would see that their love had grown stronger over time.

That's my hope too! I hope you love each other the least on your wedding day, that as you go forward in this Adventure Called Marriage you will hold on tight and enjoy the ride.

Here's a look back at a few of my observations on marriage: (Click the word or phrase beside the number to find the original post)

#2 - Animated Conversations - Never Fight. Have Animated Conversations!

#3 - Enjoy the Little Things - Don't spend too much time trying to create big memories because the little ones mean something too.

#4 - Laughter - Laughter is the Best Medicine

#5 - Stick Together - At the end of the day, it is better because we are a couple and we get through it together.

#6 - Marriage has Seasons - This Ain't Hollywood - Realizing Marriage has Seasons
